This year Bangladesh Renal Association (BRA), Kidney Foundation and KAMPS together celebrated World Kidney Day on 11th March. A seminar was held on that day where- Message was sent by Honourable Prime Minister, People’s Republic of Bangladesh Message was sent by Honourable President, People’s Republic of Bangladesh Message was sent by Honourable Health Minister, People’s Republic of Bangladesh. Message was sent by Honourable Vice Chancellor, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University. Also Kidney Foundation Hospital and Research Institute has organized a seminar to celebrate World Kidney Day 2021. In this seminar, patients with kidney diseases who are on different renal replacement therapies like haemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis or renal transplant spoke on how to stay well with kidney disease. This seminar was broadcasted in television by Channel I and was published in Kaler Kantho, a national newspaper of Bangladesh. Also Prof. Harun Ur Rashid, Chairman and Founder of Kidney Foundation wrote an article in Bengali for general people on different aspects of Kidney health, which was published in Kaler Kantho, a national newspaper. Also Kidney Foundation participated in a pilot study on “Living Well With Kidney Disease – a patient survey with questionnaire” organized by IFKF.
