Kidney Support Network Run 2.0

Epitome Kidney Urology Institute and Lions Hospital is one of India’s leading Nephrology Care Hospitals located right in the heart of the City, New Delhi, India. They aim to provide excellence medical care to CKD patients. Its is led by renowned Nephrologist and Chairman sir Dr. Vijay Kher. Every year Epitome hospitals under the guidance and direction of Dr. Vijay Kher celebrates World Kidney Day in several activities and forms. This year also Epitome Hospitals conducted several CKD patient centric and general public focused activities to spread awareness around Kidney Health and emphasizes on Early Detection and prevention of Kidney Diseases. The main event was a Runathon 2.0 held on 9th March 2025.

Kidney Support Network Trust is an NGO which aims at providing support to CKD patients. This event focuses on CKD patients and their family members, healthcare professionals- Nephrologist, physicians, doctors, nurses, technicians and the general public. 

Last year event was a superhit event with the highest gathering of 550plus CKD patients across Delhi NCR. This event was organized on 17th March 2024, Timings: morning 5-9am, Location: PSOI Club, Nehru Park, Chanakyapuri, Pin-110021, New Delhi, India.

This year we aim to reach a target of 1000 patients across India. This year Walkathon 2.00 was scheduled on 9th March, Sunday 2025. This was participated by 600 plus patients their family members, athletes, healthcare professionals across Delhi NCR. 

Kidney Support Network this year aims to conduct a Month-long patient engagement activity focusing mainly on CKD Patient, emphasis on early detection. The main event is an Outdoor activity Walkathon 2.0 which was conducted on 9th March, Sunday, which included 10k run, 5k run by athletes, 5k, 3k walk and 1mile kids run by patients and their family members for supporting CKD patients. Going ahead we have plans of many more Inhouse activities listed below:

1. Drawing and Painting Competition for CKD patients and their family members.

2. Kidney disease awareness talks/sessions focusing on early detection and prevention of kidney diseases in various School, Colleges, Universities and Healthcare institutes across Delhi NCR.

3. Ramp Walk by CKD patients.

4. Story writing and telling competition, fun filed games for CKD patients and their family members.
