Dar-us-Shifa Foundation, a (NFP) Not-for-Profit registered organization held a program dedicated to spread Kidney Health Awareness in collaboration with Macter International. Due to COVID-19 outbreak, we had to limit the number of audience. The audience of the program included Dialysis patients, their attendants who come along and Trustees/members of Dar-us-Shifa Foundation. Dr. Shabnam Asad led the program and presented guidelines on how to take care of kidneys and live a healthy life.
Mission of Dar-us-Shifa Foundation is to provide Free Dialysis Sessions to those who have met ESRD (End Stage Renal Disease) when dialysis is their only option. Surviving with such a disease in developing country is not easy so Dar-us-Shifa Foundation (currently equipped with 20 dialysis machines) took the step to provide Free Dialysis Sessions, educate people of Pakistan about the effects of Kidney disease and their prevention.
