National Kidney Foundation of Malaysia (NKF) will be organizing the 16th Annual Dialysis Conference 2022 on the 5th -6th March 2022 and will take this opportunity to celebrate WKD among all health care professionals.
In collaboration with the Malaysian Society of Nephrology, Ministry of Higher Education and NKF, WKD 2022 will also be celebrated in participating Universities and Colleges, where exhibitions and competitions will be held. We took the initiative to involve the students as it aligns with the WKD 2022 theme and to create greater awareness among the young generation on kidney disease and how they can learn to take care of their kidneys. Highlights of the programmes are Jump Rope Challenge, online quiz and organ donation campaign.
A virtual public forum on the Big Give- Organ Donation will be done as well and followed by World Kidney Day 2022 launching which will be officiated by YB Khairy Jamaluddin, Minister of Health and YB Dato’ Dr. Noraini Ahmad, Minister of Higher Education of Malaysia, virtually on 12th March 2022 live on FB@nkfmy.
