First of all, a cordial greeting, this is to notify the activities related to the celebration of World Kidney Day, based on the slogan: Kidney Health For All – Prepare for the unexpected, supporting the vulnerable!, which took place on Thursday March 9 of this year in the Pediatric Annex of the University Hospital Complex “Dr. Luis Razetti”, together with the staff of the Adult Nephrology and Dialysis Service, alumni of the Pediatric Nephrology postgraduate course, Hospital Classroom teachers and representatives of the pharmaceutical industry. These activities included:
1. Educational talks on prevention of kidney disease;
2. Blood pressure control.
3. Control of glycemia and general urine test, with the support of the laboratory staff of our institution.
4. Performance of renal echosonography, by Dr. Yorki Solórzano, Pediatric Nephrologist.
4. Recreational activities for children, with the support of our institution’s Hospital Classroom teachers.
5. Play and dances, by staff of the Christian Church.
6. Dance therapy, by the Instructor Luis Lezama.
