Project goal: Promoting kidney health through education, prevention, and early diagnosis of CKD.
Objectives:
✔ Raise public awareness about kidney health
✔ Decrease the number of advanced kidney failure cases
✔ Improve access to early diagnostic tests
✔ Strengthen collaboration between patients, family doctors, and nephrologists
Campaign Activities:
The initiative will focus on educating the general public about the importance of CKD prevention and early diagnosis while supporting family doctors in this process. Key activities include:
Launch & Outreach:
The campaign will officially launch on March 13th in Bucharest, followed by a press conference on March 14th, also in Bucharest. The press conference will bring together policymakers in health, medical professionals, dialysis and transplant patients, as well as their families. Additionally, ATR volunteers will engage with citizens outdoor informing them about the importance of early kidney disease detection.
Designed as a year-long initiative, the campaign will expand to multiple cities across Romania, ensuring a widespread impact.
