World Kidney Day in Palo Alto, CA

VA Palo Alto Healthcare system will be hosting an educational booth in the lobby of the hospital for World Kidney Day on March 12th from 10am-2pm. Educational Handouts for kidney health will be provided to patients, families, and staff, Resourced from the VA National Kidney Group, the National Kidney Foundation Website, and the World Kidney Day Campaign Site. A nephrology and Dialysis representative will be present for Q&A and discussion, as well as intermittently a kidney transplant NP. We will also be handing out Kidney related word games, pins, stickers, snacks, and drinks. 

Our hospital aims to raise awareness, educate our population on kidney health, and provide information on staying informed and lowering risks to kidney injury.
