Kidney health for everyone (“Salud renal para todos”)

During the World Kidney Day, we will perform an screening activity for chronic kidney disease in the general population. This activity will include clinical evaluation and measurement of blood pressure, glycemia, body mass index and evaluation of cardiovascular and renal risk. This activity will be open to the general public, available for free.

Additionally, we will conduct educational activities related to preventing and detecting chronic kidney disease through audiovisual material and talks to the community.

This activity will be performed at Hospital Clinico Universidad de Chile in Santiago, Chile.

The activity is supported by the hospital’s Nephrology Section and will be directed by Dr. Luis Toro.
