Raising awareness for World Kidney Day and Organ Donation at Nefrontida Nephrology Center (Nicosia, Cyprus)

To commemorate World Kidney Day and promote organ donation, a series of impactful activities will be conducted with a global reach. Two powerful videos, each with English subtitles, will be produced to ensure accessibility worldwide. The first video will feature kidney transplant recipients, sharing their inspiring stories and highlighting the transformative impact of organ donation. The second video will document the emotional and medical journey of a patient with kidney failure, raising awareness about early detection, treatment, and the urgent need for donors. In addition to these videos, a blood donation drive will be held, encouraging individuals to contribute to saving lives, while a registration campaign will invite volunteers to join the bone marrow donor registry, expanding the chances of life-saving matches. These initiatives aim to educate, inspire, and mobilize communities globally, fostering a culture of giving and hope.
