Diaverum Poland actively participates in the celebration of World Kidney Day! As part of this initiative, we are launching the “Kidneys Have Power” educational programme in primary schools.
This programme aims to support local efforts to promote health education, raise awareness of kidney health and encourage children to take care of themselves by:
· Practicing good hygiene habits
· Maintaining a healthy diet
· Regular physical activity
· Active leisure activities
· Following health and safety guidelines
The programme includes a 35-minute educational session led by dialysis nurses and regional Diaverum mentors. The session is designed for students in grades I-VI, at the school’s discretion.
We are confident that school principals will welcome the opportunity to participate in this enriching project. The educational sessions will take place in the communities where Diaverum clinics are located in Poland.
Taking care of your kidneys from an early age reduces the risk of future health problems and ensures overall well-being. Healthy habits today mean healthier kidneys for life!
