World Kidney Day 2024 is on 14th March 2024 and the theme for this year is “Advancing equitable access to care and optimal medication practice”. Coinciding with this theme, the Centre for Education, Research, and Training in Kidney Diseases (CERTKiD), University of Peradeniya, in collaboration with the Renal Care Unit, Teaching Hospital Peradeniya organized a community awareness program to raise awareness about chronic kidney disease among the general population in Kandy District.
