Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is a progressive condition in which kidney function declines over time. There is no cure. Treatment options to modify the progression of the disease are limited. Currently, approximately 200 million people live with CKD and its prevalence continues to rise. On this day, we will meet a patient living with dialysis and a transplant donor to better understand this disease so that we in AstraZeneca can help develop new medicines in this area for everyone everywhere.
