Dallas Everest Lions Club organizes DELC Kidney Walk annually. This year it will be lead by Mr Rick Stopfer, Mayor of Irving City and Mr Henry White, District Governor, International Lions Club 2X1 District and attended by many social organizations and personalities. Cultural programs will be organized on that day proceeded by the 5K walk.
Discussions will be held to highlight the importance of healthy kidney to combat diabetics, high blood pressure and heart attack. Discussions will also focus on need to be organ donor and particularly brain death donor.
