World Kidney day awareness program conducted by Department of Community Medicine, Shri Sathya Sathya Sai Medical College and Research Institute, Tamilnadu, India 15 participants (patients and residents of Thiruporur) participated in the program. Welcome address on commemoration of World Kidney day 2021 theme “Living well with Kidney disease ” was given by Dr.V.Pragadeesh Raja, Assistant professor . Dr.Michael Joyel . , Intern explained about function of kidney, causes of kidney failure, explained the treatment availability Kidney failure, Prevention of Kidney failure was explained by Dr.V.Pragadeesh Raja , Assistant Professor, In charge, Urban Health Centre, The session ended with refreshment. The session was conducted following social distancing and personal protective measures.
