Experts from PAHO/WHO and SLANH will present the current situation of the Chronic Kidney Disease in Latin America and the strategies implemented in the region to prevent it. There will be a special attention to the epidemic of CKD affecting young populations in agricultural communities in Central America, including the response from El Salvador and the launching of the Spanish edition of Medicc Review special issue on this topic.
