Salud! is taking place on March 8, 2018 and will recognize both World Kidney Day and International Women’s Day. Salud, is a spanish toast which literally means to your health. The risk of developing kidney disease is at least as high in women as in men and affects approximately 195 million women worldwide. In addition, women in our community play a crucial role in caregiving for children, spouses and parents living with kidney disease.
This amazing event is brought to you by The Kidney Foundation of Canada and will be held at Artscape, Wychwood Barns in Toronto. Attendees will be treated to many incredible sweet and savoury treats provided by Toronto’s best eateries all while sipping beverages from local wineries and breweries. This event is the ultimate way to celebrate Kidneys and Women’s Health all while raising important funds to ease the burden of kidney disease.
Salud! will also feature entertainment, swag bags and a silent auction. This event is a great way for guests to spend time with family, friends and/or co-workers to network while sampling what our great city has to offer.
