The WKD team is based in Brussels (Belgium) but you can consult the event map and the list of champions to find like-minded potential collaborators in your area. Event map

In order to increase visibility to your event, generate a bigger turnout and find like-minded potential collaborators in your area, pin your activity to the WKD event map. To do so, complete the form on our website here. Review your event details carefully before inserting them in the online form and double check dates and times. The reason being that once accepted and published, it is very cumbersome for the campaign team to edit events especially given the high volume of events which are pinned every year.
If you require assistance in editing published events, please email us at info@worldkidneyday.org with the WKD website URL of the event in question and clearly indicate the edits that you would like to make.
Typically, your activity will be accepted by the website administrator and show on the map within 5 working days. In the month leading up to World Kidney Day, we approve submissions within 24- 48 hours. One of the most common reason for events not displaying on the map, is for the activity to be dated to the wrong year (e.g. 2019 instead of 2020). If you cannot see your activity after one week of submission, please check whether it is pinned to the previous (or next) year’s event map. If you still can’t see your activity, feel free to email us at info@worldkidneyday.org

Photo stream/ Social media/ Reports

We would love to hear and share more about your WKD activities. To feature in the photostream on our website, please send the pictures in single files by email to info@worldkidneyday.org and we will take care of uploading them to the WKD official gallery on the website. If you want to share more, you can fill in the event report template which we will upload to our impact report page. Innovative and impactful activities described in reports, are also add as “best ideas”. Finally, tag our social media profiles (Facebook: @World Kidney Day, Twitter: @worldkidneyday; Instagram: @worldkidney_day, LinkedIn: @ World Kidney Day) in your posts about your activity and we will share them on our channels.
Photos included in the impact report are selected following a number of considerations. Namely: regional balance, relevance to the category of events showcased, visibility of WKD logo and branding, image quality, composition of photo in regards to photo frame. Moreover, the report primarily showcases figures. In contrast, events, pictures and regional work are showcased in other sections of the website, such as the photostream, event map, best ideas webpage, within the individual country/ regional reports and on our social media channels.
