Thank you for your beautiful sincerity.
As an educator, I hope to reach as many people as possible in order to inform them of the many vital tasks that our magnificent kidneys perform, on a continual basis, for our bodies. Although, in addition to the near-miraculous project of filtering potentially lethal toxins and metabolic waste products from the blood, many are aware of the starring role the kidneys in the homeostatic regulation of blood pressure and acid-base regulation. How many people, however, are aware of the significance of the kidneys in body temperature regulation? Chronically dehydrated persons often experience a significant exacerbation of symptoms -- including disorientation and confusion -- with only a modest increase in ambient temperature.
