Hello,
I am new to this site. I am a patient since november 2006. I suffer from Lupus which I didnt know I had until it attacked my kidneys.Been on dialysis almost 5 years. My father was suppose to donate his kidney to me but unfurtonately they found protein in his urine, so the transplant fell through. I have been on rituxan for about 9 months and now waiting for labs next week to see if lupus is on remission frrom the infusion back in october. the infusion lasts about 6-7 mths so i…

Wow! What a day!
I was talking to the site manager of the hospital where I am having my awareness stand about tables and display board only to be told that their display boards had been stolen!!!
I couldn't believe it who would steal from a hospital??
Anyway this left me with a problem where could I get display boards??
Most of the ones used these days are fixed and cannot be moved so after a bit of digging around I found out that there may one in the hospital…

Got our T-shirts for World Kidney Day to-night

Got our posters too things are really coming together an getting excited about doing this awareness stand have roped in my children to help
was thinking about handing out sweets along with other feebies like pens etc to draw people to the stand
the kids are coming with me to the open night in the renal unit too

medical camp at Sariatpur District, of Bangladesh on 14th January, 2011. The

This thursday, the final in the screening series of WKD 2010 shall take place this thursday, 25th March at the Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital, Ogun State, Nigeria.
On March 11th, screening took place in 18 out of 20 general hospitals in the state (18 different local government areas), as well as the Teaching Hospital, Federal Medical Center, Abeokuta and the Health Center, UNAAB, Abeokuta.
