I am so happy to have learned of this wonderfully exciting and informative network!
As a teacher, I cannot emphasize enough
the kidneys' leading role in homeostatic
regulation. How many are aware of the
kidneys' role in body temperature
regulation? That people take their kidneys
for granted is cliche!
I very much like your posted featuring a pair of horrified kidneys by the presence of diabetes!
