Horacio, thank you for joining our group. We are interested to know your story and tell us about obesity, diabetes, metabolic syndrome and kidney failure. Tell us about the programs that are in place in Brasil to prevent these health problems and what Americans will need to do to avoid the epidemic.

Welcome to World Kidney Day!
As an educator, I am always seeking better ways to encourage "nephro awareness" among students and other faculty as well. It is sad -- that even among persons in the medical professions -- the kidneys are the most understated organ in the body.
Although students and faculty have benefited greatly from the informative pamphlets provided by WKD, any suggestions you might have would be most welcomed.
