My cystinic stones....
Hy everyone,
First I have to tell you I'm glad there is such a place when I can discuss about my disease and maybe there will be people who will read this story and will do a control to see how healthy are their kidneys- my name is Bogdan Isacescu, I'm 30 years old and I am from Bucharest, Romania.
My disease is bilateral cystine lithiasis, is very rare and I was born with it - some doctors said that is a genetic disease but my grandparents, my parents and even my sister who is yonger don't have it. My story begins when I was 1 year old and my mother saw in my pampers some blood, she took me to a doctor and discover I had a little stone blocked in my urethra, this is my first surgery of my life - even now I have a sign of it. From this moment my parents began to take me to so many doctors to find a treatment for my kidney stones - but all their searches were for nothing. These stones are formed because a gene not make a substance in my body to disolve cystine - so this cystine little by little, from sand to stones grows coraliform and conquer parts of my kidney - there wasn't a treatment, stones were formed from everything I was eating at that time . First kidney who was conquered was the right one - at 6 years old I make an open surgery on it and the doctor clean it as much and better as he can do it - in 3 months the sand, the stones reappear, still was a good news the left kidney was clean. But this could not take forever - in time of my puberty I began to make stones at my left kidney - these were big ones (almost like little olives) - I had many kidney crises in that period, even for 2 weeks and I have eliminated many little stones and some big stones - but some of them were too big and they were blocking in my urethra - and when this was happened the doctors were trying to break the stones in small parts or to pull them out - this process is very, very painful - sometimes doctors couldn't make it and then they cut me (open surgery). I have never had crisis on the right kidney - there are so many stones there and they couldn't go down (its function from then is just 10%). From that age (16 - 17) I'm a pacient of the Clinical Institute of Urology and Renal Transplantation Fundeni from Bucharest. Many good doctors, teachers and masters of urology consult me but there was not found yet a treatment. A period of time untill last year, I took a medicinal product (ACC - 400 mg/day) and for aprox 10 years I haven't crisis and I was hoping that is OK but it wasn't. In November last year at a control I found the left kidney was full of stones, I was very sad but always there is a good part, for the first time I've heard that there is a medicine which can help in my disease (Cuprenil - Penicilaminum substance). In February this year I have 2 surgerys on my left kidney with NLP techniques - I'm very well, I still have 2 stones in my left kidney (one of 2 cm and one of 1,3 cm) but I''ll resolve these one with some ESWL (ultrasounds sessions) - the right kidney it's works only 5% but it works.
In conclusion the message I want to send you even you are a pacient or healthy person is this: if you have kidney stones drink many liquids (I drink between 5 to 7 L /day), go to a doctor before its too late, find the nature of the stones (kidney stones are different) and for many of them there are treatments or medicine products; if you are a healthy person drink 2L/day of liquid this is necessary and not only for kidney is good for the body and if you have a little high blood pressure or pains,back in the middle of you body go to an urologist doctor, it's better to prevent kidney stones.
This is my story and it is writing now in this moment with every battle I have with this disease - I hope someday with doctors, with the progress of the medicine, with people like you who knows how important are kidneys, to win!!! I'll be here for any of you who wants to discuss about this subject.

Hi Janice,
When I wrote my article, my story, I've said to myself: if only one person will read it - means my objective will be achived because when a person knows something later or sooner will share it and in this way my story will help. When you suffer by a disease is better to know everything about it, because in this way you will be prepared to pass over it. My principle is the first doctor who can help is in you. Your mind can do miracles, however, unfortunately, we are still primitive in this regard.

well done. keep it up. you have been very brave.
but dear have you ever tried homeopathic medicine.i am a homeopathic physician and have seen a lot of cases where modern medicine couldnt do anything and homeopathy has done wonders.
although i haven't came across your disease, but there are a lot of genetic disorders where homeopathy has been useful.it is always very sad to see that the patient arrives too late to us and a lot of damage has already been done.
I SUGGEST YOU TO TAKE HOMEOPATHY FOR SOMETIME. IT WILL DEFINITELY SLOW DOWN STONE FORMATION AND IMPROVE YOUR QUALITY OF LIFE.

Hi,
Thank you for your care about my disease. When I was 10-11 years old I've tried some homeopathic treatments for almost 2 years but without any luck......the stones have grown bigger and bigger in my right kidney....I know the fact that homeopathy in some cases made wonderful miracles but unfortunatelly I'm not one of these ...

do you stop praying if your prayers are not answered ? i m sure u dont
your condition is a genetic defect.it wont be corrected by any medicine. but it definitely can be slowed if not checked.
you must have constitutional treatment.i dont know who treated you back then. but while giving constitutional homeopathic medicine each and every detail of yours, all your likes and dislikes, your fears, dreams, sleep, nature, anger etc,etc,etc. must be recorded very carefully and then only correct medicine or similimum can be prescribed.sometimes it takes more than 2 years.my own allergic rhinitis took 5 years to be cured although i m a doctor myself
i firmly believe that god cannot cannot be so unkind so as to make a disease and not make a remedy for it.
