Health Minister joins students for Healthy Lifestyle Learning at St Mary’s Catholic Primary School, Darwin to learn about better kidney health. As part of the associated schools program, students learn the importance of drinking water instead of sugar drinks. The incidence of end stage kidney disease for Indigenous peoples is especially high in remote and very remote areas of Australia, with rates up to 20 times higher than those for all Australians.
