World Kidney Day takes place on Thursday 9th March 2017. The event aims to raise public attention towards the importance of kidney health.
This year’s theme for the event is ‘Kidney Disease and Obesity’.
Doctors, nurses and healthcare professionals from Aintree’s Nephrology Team, Aintree Well-being team, Aintree Organ Donation Team, Aintree Kidney Patients’ Association (AKPA) and Southport Kidney Fund, will be hosting a free screening and advice session without the need of an appointment.
